The painting of the emerging artist Baldur Galoor is a symbol of the resurrection in the three monotheistic world religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Symbols seem to appear everywhere, but in fact all the pictorial elements defy any clear interpretation. The transition from death to new life is reflected in the depiction of what is overgrown, rusty and dark to what is flourishing, shining and alive.
Resurrection is taken up as a process of our lives that constantly accompanies us - in the form of change and development that we experience every day. The core message: nothing stays the same - and where something old goes, something new is created. Bright colors shine in the darkness and an incredible variety of details is combined with seemingly out-of-place things and creatures such as tigers, wasps, hedgehogs, drawers and a wrecked helicopter. A world from the subconscious: Fascinating, moving, significant but indistinct.
